50 STATES FISHING IN 50 DAYS is a non-profit corporation within the state of Missouri.
The trip is paid by sponsorships from individuals, small business and major corporations. Our sponsorship is separate from our charity fundraising. At no time is any fundraising funds to be paid to 50 STATES FISHING IN 50 DAYS or its employees.
Our promotion for charities is in this form:
Do not make checks to 50 STATES FISHING IN 50 DAYS. Instead make them to the charity with 50-50 fishing in the memo line of the check.
Cancer Research donations should be made directly to the facility and sent directly to that facility. The addresses to send them is on our Cancer Research page.
The cookbook advance sales is made to 50-50 fishing and is partly sponsorship, merchandise and scholarship. This scholarship is our own scholarship for upper-class (Sophomore-Junior and Senior) college students studying conservation, marine biology or environmental studies.
Concerts. In some instances they are sponsored concerts and the proceeds are paid directly to the charity. Other locations there will be bills to be paid with the net paid directly to the local charity. Local charities and facilities are working very close with us to guarantee the maximum amount of revenue to be earned by the charity for this project. We are using this national promotion to promote the local charities. At no time does 50 STATES FISHING IN 50 DAYS receive any revenue for this work.
St. Joseph Celebration Concert. November 15, 2004, Missouri Theatre, 1 pm concert proceeds to Salvation Army, 7:00 pm concert to Americas Second Harvest Food Bank of St. Joseph. Sunny Jim Band and Jim Morris.
